 Event Overview

Over the last 20 years Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology and Neurointerventional Radiology have emerged to highly sophisticated technical specialties. Practice evolves rapidly with introduction of newer techniques, technologies and guidelines.

We are excited to invite you to the 4th European Endovascular and Interventional Cardiology Conference (EICC). EICC will provide a focused exposure to the latest advances, newer technological advances and changes in current practice. Besides coronary, structural and endovascular interventions, special focus this year will be stroke endovascular interventions, interventional cardio-oncology and critical limb ischemia (CLI) interventions.

Through a carefully-designed program of lectures from world experts, attendees will have the opportunity to focus on the latest advances and participate in faculty discussions.

 Conference Highlights

• Presentations from internationally recognized interventional cardiologists, interventional radiologists, neuroradiologists, neurologists, and vascular surgeons

• Discussion sessions with course faculty

• Networking opportunities among colleagues

Educational Objectives

Attendance of EICC should allow participants to:

• Approach new techniques for the management of complex coronary lesion subsets (Left main, bifurcations, tortuous calcified lesions, chronic total occlusions and saphenous vein graft disease), structural transcatheter interventions (percutaneous valve therapy, adult congenital heart disease interventions, stroke intervention, hybrid and endovascular procedures.

• Learn the latest international guidelines and practice changes for the management of heart and peripheral arterial disease.

• Discuss newer techniques for the percutaneous management of valvular heart disease and adult congenital heart disease.

• Understand how to reduce procedural complications (transradial approach, ultrasound-guided access, micropuncture technique, FFR and IVUS).

• Choose among newer antiplatelet and anticoagulants

• Elect the best imaging modalities for the pre- or periprocedural assessment in the cath lab

Target Audience

This conference is designed for interventional cardiologists, cardiologists, interventional radiologists, neuroradiologists, neurologists, vascular and cardiac surgeons with an interest in interventional cardiology and vascular surgery. No previous experience  is required, but a basic understanding of the field is recommended.

Commercial Support

EICC is supported by educational grants from industry and conference registration fees. A complete listing of commercial supporters is still unavailable. Appropriate acknowledgement will be given to all supporters at the time of the educational activity.
